Legal
Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 2026-07-11
Envello sends on shared infrastructure. One account's abuse damages deliverability for every other customer, so this policy is enforced strictly and, for the categories below, without prior warning.
Not permitted
- Unsolicited bulk email or cold outreach without a pre-existing relationship or clear opt-in
- Cryptocurrency, airdrop, or investment-scheme promotions
- Affiliate marketing blasts
- Phishing, malware distribution, or any deceptive sender identity
- Content that is illegal in the EU
- Sending to purchased, rented, or scraped recipient lists
Required for every sender
- Valid SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configuration on all sending domains
- Honoring unsubscribe and suppression requests immediately
- Keeping bounce rate under 2% and complaint rate under 0.1%
Enforcement
Accounts exceeding bounce or complaint thresholds are automatically rate-limited or paused to protect the shared IP pool. Accounts found sending prohibited content are suspended immediately and reviewed by hand. Appeals go to [email protected].
Reporting abuse
If you receive unwanted email that appears to come through Envello, forward it with full headers to [email protected]. We investigate every report.
